Job Title: Weatherization & Housing Programs Manager
Job Summary: Our mission is to assist and enable low and moderate-income individuals to obtain the opportunities needed to prepare themselves for self-sufficiency. A Weatherization & Housing Programs Manager is a key player in the day-to-day activities of the Housing Department. They perform daily activities, such as home assessments, final inspections, and data entry of assessments, and must have a full understanding of all Weatherization & Housing policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with Program duties
- Review all accounts payable for the Housing Department and Housing Rehabilitation grants
- Maintenance of client files according to program guidelines
- Perform Energy Conservation and Lead assessments and finals
- Data entry of assessments and write scopes of service of work to be performed
- Attend all IDPA classes for Certification and continued training
- Assist in the preparation of bids and opening thereof in compliance with Federal and State guidelines
- Work with the Energy Conservation/Housing Coordinators on quality control issues
- Supervise all field staff, contractors, and sub-contractors to make certain that all construction is done correctly within the scope of program guidelines
- Recommend and provide training to contractors and staff
- Perform other duties as assigned
