Building a strong connection with those we’re working with is a crucial component of trauma-informed care. Connection refers to the establishment of meaningful relationships between caregivers and care recipients, creating an environment where recipients feel safe, understood, valued, and supported. This presentation will explore the role of connection in trauma-informed care, its impact on trauma recovery, and strategies for fostering relationships in trauma-informed work.
