On Thursday, February 16, HUD Midwest Deputy Regional Administrator Jim Cunningham and Illinois Field Office Director Kimberly Danna, along with Illinois Homelessness Chief Christine Haley, visited ERBA and presented us with a grant award of $268,911 to address rural homelessness in seven of our nine counties. This was awarded to ERBA through the South Central Illinois Continuum of Care, which ERBA is the lead agency for. ERBA is one of only two recipients in the State of Illinois, and one of 46 recipients nationwide. It was an honor to have representatives from HUD and the State visit and make this presentation.
